Hey guys!
Well, I'm in Germany safe and sound. The flight was pleasant and when I arrived there was someone waiting for me. We went to visit the school to fill out necessary paperwork and then to acquire my military post ID (Installation ID). Tomorrow, I plan to get my "privilege pass" to purchase things at the commissary and PX.
I am sharing an apartment with 6 other student teachers, and the apartment below me is filled with 8 other student teachers. Most of the student teachers are from Washington State and Michigan. Since I'm the only Texan... they gave me the nickname, "Tex."
I plan to start observing on the 27th.
The school has about 110 students. I'm the 3rd student teacher at the elementary and the rest of them are scattered between the middle and high schools on the post.
Any questions/comments... leave a post!

That's it, I'm coming to visit! Is there room for one more at your place? How could I not visit my cousin "Tex" while he's in Germany?
yeah... okay... your room is REALLY small! that should be interesting! Loved the pictures though, it was kinda hard seeing everything through a shaky webcam - though I'm definitely not complainin'...just sayin'. But look on the bright side. If your roomate snores you can reach over and kick his bed without having to get out of your bed!
My brother, tex...wow
hahaha
small place ya got there
post pictures of your roommates!
Glad to see that you got there safely! Can't wait to read more of your stories from Germany!
looks like the people you're living with are fun. oh people in korea call me things like "texan" and stuff too. i guess many texans don't travel that much because people are always surprised to meet us it seems.
oh and kathleen WOULD ask you to post pictures of your roommates...she wants to see if there are any hot guys she can make out with.
Missing facts -- the gender of your roommates.
